One of the largest astrophysical centers is located in Byurakan. Byurakan observatory is situated on the ridges of the Mount Aragats. Not far from the observatory there is a giant parabolic antenna established in Soviet period. Mostly, the weather is dry crystal clear and nights are bright in summer and winter. This marvellous corner of Armenia attracts lots of tourists.
