Arrival in Tbilisi – transfer to the Georgian-Armenian border, pass the border and drive to Alaverdi town, check in the hotel.

Visit to the masterpieces of Armenian medieval architecture - the Monastery complex Sanahin (9th – 12th cc.) and Haghpat (11th – 13th cc.), that are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List (2000).

Yerevan sightseeing including City center, Republic square, State University, City panorama, Mother Armenia memorial, short walk in Victory park along the alley of Armenian and Jewish Friendship, Cascade (artistic environment, beautiful setting, panoramic view of the city and Mountain Ararat will make you unforgettable impressions. Cosy open-air cafes, beautiful sculptures, redolent flowers shine brightly with magic colors. In the evening this place is full of people, both locals and tourists from all over the world, enjoying the magic and the warmness of the capital), Parliament, President’s Palace, Opera, Abovyan Street, visit to Holocaust Memorial and Jewish Synagogue, pass by Sports & Concert Complex, visit to the Genocide Memorial, dedicated to the Victims of 1915 and the Genocide Museum.

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Ararat valley close to the border with Turkey. Visit the monastery complex of Khor Virap – the place of imprisonment of St. Gregory the Illuminator, who stayed here in the small dungeon for 13 years without any food, accused by the Armenian King of preaching Christianity. Khor Virap Church was built on the dungeon and now people have a chance to go down into the dark pit themselves. Here is also the closest and most spectacular view of the gorgeous biblical mountain Ararat shining with its two white peaks. The hills adjoining Khor Virap were the site of the early Armenian capital - ancient Artashat built by King Artashes I, founder of the Artashesid dynasty, around 180 B.C. It is one of the few ancient towns, built by the special design of the famous Carthaginian general Hannibal. After the defeat in a war against Rome, he found shelter in Armenia…

Tour to “Areni” Winery/ wine testing. The ancient winery (4-5 cent. B.C.) has been recently discovered in that region, which proves that Armenia is one of the ancient areas where grape cultivation, processing and wine-making were developed. Drive to Vayots Dzor district through the spectacular canyon between the red rocks towards the masterpiece of Armenian architecture - Noravank Monastery (13th c.) Drive to Yeghegis village, the old settlement of Jewish community that came to Armenia from Persia in XIII - XIV cc. Visit to the cemetery located nearby with 62 tombstones in Jewish and Aramaic languages, dated from the 50th of XIII century to the beginning of XIV century. O/N in Yerevan.

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to the only remaining pagan temple in Armenia devoted to the God of Sun – Myrth, in Garni, built in 77 AD by King Trdat (Arshakid Dynasty). On the way photo stop at Charentc Arc. The temple is Greco - Roman style with characteristic pillars. It stands proudly on a rocky ridge with a deep canyon presenting a beautiful view. The temple was a summer residence for Arshakid dynasty. Visit to the ruins of Royal Palace and Royal bathhouse nearby.

Drive to the unique caved temple St. Geghard (12th - 13th cc.), the name of which means “holy spear” in the honor of the long- preserved spear, the same spear that pierced the body of crucified Christ. It is now exhibited in the museum of Etchmiadzin Cathedral. Geghard Monastery is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list (2000). The program includes family hosted lunch in village house and watching of “Lavash” (Armenian traditional flat bread baked in stone-make oven) making process.

Breakfast at the hotel. Rent of 4x4 jeeps and drive to visit Amberd fortress (11th-13th cc.) – the residence of Pahlavuni princes. It is a fortress complex with a church built in XI-XIII centuries on the slopes of Mt. Aragats at 2,300 meters above the sea level. Then continue driving to Alphabet Park, a location where all letters of Armenian alphabet made from tuff of human-size are scattered around volcanic stones. Stop for making photos.

Drive back to Yerevan, O/N in Yerevan.

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Drive to Sevan Lake – the highest fresh mountainous Lake in Eurasia. In Sevan climb to Akhtamar peninsula from top of which the breathtaking panoramic view of Sevan Lake is opened. Stop for making photos. Cruise on boat on Lake Sevan. Drive to mountainous resort Dilijan, or “Armenian Switzerland” area of dense forests and beautiful mountains. During the Soviet period the present Dilijan area Resort for artists, musicians, writers and intellectuals who came here to be inspired. Walking city tour with visiting craftsmen’s street. Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Transfer to the border in Sadakhlo, pass the border, meet and drive to Tbilisi. Tbilisi sightseeing tour includes the Old and New Towns. Visit to Old Tbilisi starts from Metekhi Church, then walk up to the brickdomed Sulphur Baths, then Narikala Fortress – one of the oldest fortifications in the city. Afterwards visit to the Synagogue, Sioni Cathedral and Anchiskhati Church. Taking a stroll along Rustaveli Avenue – the main street in Tbilisi.

Transfer to airport for around 19:00 departure flight.
